Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of
Allah, may peace be upon him.
God, the Lord of the Worlds, has undertaken to preserve His Noble Quran
from corruption and alteration, in contrast to what happened to the
preceding scriptures. He stated clearly in the definitive verses of His book,
'Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its
guardian.' This is one of the reasons for God's preservation of His book, not
only in the hearts but also in written form. The Prophet, peace be upon
him, used to instruct the scribes, who numbered more than forty, to write
down the revealed Quran with great diligence, meticulousness,
and precaution. They wrote down what was revealed in the Quran
with excessive care, ensuring meticulous documentation, and
taking every possible precaution to protect the Book of Allah, so
that the act of writing matched the act of memorization. These
scribes were among the best of the Companions, may God be
pleased with them all.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, passed away, and
the Islamic Ummah had preserved the Quran in their hearts and
manifested it by writing it using the available methods and
means.
The Rightly Guided Caliphs, may Allah be pleased with them,
followed the Prophet's (peace be upon him) practice in writing
the Quran. During the time of our master Abu Bakr As-Siddiq
(may Allah be pleased with him). the first compilation of the
Quran took place, with the authorization of our master Umar
(may Allah be pleased with him). Then, during the caliphate of our
master Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). after certain
events occurred, he initiated the second compilation of the
Quran. Uthman requested the pages from our mother Hafsah
(may Allah be pleased with her). the wife of the Prophet (peace be
upon him). to make six copies of them, as per the most accepted
accounts. These copies aimed to be comprehensive and inclusive
of the various readings that couldn't be accommodated in a
single Quran. The Prophet (peace be upon him) indicated in an
authentic hadith: 'This Quran was revealed in seven different
Ahruf, so recite what is easy (for you) .
This hadith clarifies that the Quran revealed to the Prophet
(peace be upon him) includes these multiple Ahruf, which are
known within the Islamic Ummah as the ten Mutawatir
(consensually transmitted) readings. These readings have been
recited from the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) up to
the present day and will continue to be recited until Allah inherits
the earth and all that is on it.
In adherence to the practice of compiling the Quran, which
began with the Caliphs Abu Bakr and Uthman, we rely on the
blessings of Allah to complete this practice that these
companions initiated, with the help of the materials available to
us, skilled calligraphers, and specialized scholars in readings,
script, and compilation.
The project's idea is centered around the combined audio and
written recording of the Quran in its ten recitations and their
twenty narrations. This entails creating a unique, elegant script
and a new format for each narration, resulting in a dedicated
manuscript for each, This unprecedented comprehensive
project is under the supervision of an international scientific
committee consisting of distinguished scholars and specialists
in the fields of calligraphy, textual accuracy, and recitation. All of
this serves to strengthen the confidence and assurance of the
Islamic community.
Firstly: The spread of unverified copies of the Quran,
which contain numerous errors, sometimes reaching
the level of distortion. These have circulated on the
internet based on personal
interpretations.
Therefore, it has become essential for the Ummah
and the leading scholars to compile all the
narrations, both in writing and audio, verified under
the supervision of an international scientific
committee comprising distinguished scholars and
experts in the Quranic sciences.
Secondly: Given that the existing manuscripts in our
current era were written in a format that cannot
accommodate multiple narrations, it became
necessary for us to write a manuscript with a new
format that encompasses the variations in script and
the different recitation methodologies. These
variations are not available in any manuscript to date,
enabling us to write and compile a Quran containing
all the well-known and authentic narrations.
Thirdly: The spread of the science of Quranic
recitations and the need for students of knowledge
to have a comprehensive, documented reference for
all narrations.
Fourthly: Reviving the tradition of writing the noble
manuscript, which dates back to the time of
Prophethood, as the Companions adhered to it. The
early generations preserved and developed it until it
reached us. Thus, it is our duty to carry the banner of
enhancing the writing of the noble Quran while
adhering to the principles of script and accuracy,
reviving this noble tradition.
Ornamentation
The creativity in the Mushaf Al Ummah project will not be limited to writing it in a unified style and various script styles. It will go beyond that to showcase the value of Islamic ornamentation. The design will consider the culture and art of ornamentation for all Muslims worldwide, respecting their different cultural backgrounds. This will lead to a state of harmony between the reader of the Mushaf Al Ummah and their cultural and artistic environment in terms of ornamentation and style. Each reader will enjoy their artistic heritage, fostering a sense of emotional connection between the reader and the Mushaf Al Um mah.
The written compilation of the Quran
entails writing the entire Quran, complete with all twenty narrations, in an elegant and distinctive script. This includes a format that accommodates all the different narrations while designating a separate manuscript for each narration.
The Audio Compilation of the Quran
Recording the complete Quran with all ten readings and twenty narrations, recited by a group of the most prominent reciters in the Islamic world.
Audio and Text Integration
This project will combine the Quran textually and audibly. The audio will be synchronized with the text
by placing a QR code at the bottom of each page in the Quran manuscripts for the twenty narrations. This allows Muslims to listen to the recitation of the page in the specific narration they are reading
Multiple Styles of Textual Script
The project takes into account the vast expanse of the Islamic world and the diversity in script styles. The predominant script style in the Arab East differs from that in the Arab West, and it also differs from the style used in non-Arabic speaking countries. Therefore, the project aims to include various script styles found in all Islamic countries, such as the script style of the Arab East, the script style of the Arab West, and the script style of the Turks.

The creativity in the Mushaf Al Ummah project will not be limited to writing it in a unified style and various script styles. It will go beyond that to showcase the value of Islamic ornamentation. Each reader will enjoy their artistic heritage, fostering a sense of emotional connection between the reader and the Mushaf Al Um mah.
The Collection of Revilations
The Nation's Mus'haf project aims to be a comprehensive Mus'haf for all Muslims, documenting all Quranic readings with its continuous twenty narratives, both audibly and legibly, through an integrated project that has never happened before in the history of the Islamic Ummah. This is done by dedicating a specific Mus'haf for each narrative.
